I am a NYC-based dancer, choreographer, and photographer. I primarily focus on dance / theater performance photography. My own choreographic experiences allow me to skillfully compose and capture moments on stage. By viscerally watching dance or theater shows as if I were one of the performers in the work, I document not only the exciting poses and jumps, but also those landmark moments critical to the dramaturgical arc of the piece, and even those moments with less virtuosic motion. I believe performances should be photographed by performers.
